The Broken Clock
He told her not to look at the broken clock, but he was the one who broke it. Every broken promise, every unfair act, and every year he wasted changed the woman who once stood beside him with gratitude, loyalty, and care.
Now he offers money as if it can buy back the lost hours. But time, trust, respect, and appreciation were priceless gifts—and once destroyed, they cannot be replaced. She did not become distant without a reason. His hands changed the clock, and now it is too late for him to ask why it no longer moves for him.
Even the strongest body can become sick from carrying too much bitterness. And when every door is kept locked, even the final door can appear to be freedom.
