The Witness in the Forest
In the forest, many things can hide behind leaves.
A broken branch can be blamed on the wind.
A fallen nest can be called an accident.
A frightened voice can be dismissed as imagination.
For a while, deception may feel safe there.
It moves between shadows.
It changes its story.
It waits for confusion to cover the path.
But even in the deepest forest, there are eyes that see.
There is always a witness somewhere — quiet, patient, and unbought by the noise. The witness may not speak immediately. The witness may wait until the right moment. But silence does not always mean absence.
Sometimes silence means truth is gathering its courage.
And when the witness finally speaks, the forest changes.
The broken branch is no longer just a branch.
The fallen leaves are no longer just leaves.
The path becomes clear, and what was hidden can no longer pretend to be invisible.
The witness does not need to shout.
The witness only needs to say what was seen.
That is enough.
Because when deception has exhausted every branch, truth remains standing in the clearing.
And what was denied in the shadows
is finally witnessed in the light.
