The Illusionist of Lies

He was not a husband.
He was an illusionist.
His stage was not built on love, but on lies.

Each wife was handed a script —
lines whispered in secrecy,
promises rehearsed in shadows,
truths edited until they became fiction.

He compared them,
not to honor their strengths,
but to ignite rivalry.
He made loyalty into a contest,
and affection into a prize.

But lies are fragile costumes.
They tear when exposed to light.
And some wives stopped playing his game.
They stepped off the stage,
refusing to compete in a theater of deceit.

So the illusionist searched for new actresses,
new women to cast in his endless play.
But the cycle was always the same:
lies, comparisons, competition, collapse.

The lesson is clear:
A marriage built on lies is not a home,
but a stage where everyone loses.
Truth is not optional.
It is the foundation.
Without it, love becomes performance,
and family becomes theater.
